He is survived by: his wife Esperanza Martinez; his children, Nancy Soto-Herrera (Cliff), Lidia M. Soto and John Soto; his grandchildren, Alissa Shantel Herrera and Fabian Paul Herrera (Andrea); his great grandchildren, Everest, Poppy and Romi; and his siblings, Concepcion, Antonia, Javier, Miguel, Jesus, Guadalupe "Lupe" and Lourdes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
