She was predeceased by : her parent Maria Vitorino Quadros. She is survived by : her spouse João Alves of Hilmar; her children, Mark Alves of Hilmar, Jason Alves (Mary) of Turlock, Lisa Lane (Justin) of Hilmar, Melissa Snider (Aaron) of Turlock and David Alves of Hilmar; her sisters, Lilia Steup of Walnut Creek and Sandy Diaz of Walnut Creek; and her grandchildren, Abram Lane, Gavin Snider, Eli Alves, Aliza Lane and Nolan Snider.

It was Eliza's wish that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the ALS Association (https://www.als.org) or to other local families struggling with ALS.
