He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe C and Mary R Mendes; and his siblings, Lucy Mendes, Mamie Carvalho (Joe), Amelia Serpa and Joe Mendes.
He is survived by: his wife Yonnie Mendes; his sons, Ronald Mendes (Eleanor), Daniel Mendes (Joy), Anthony Mendes (Karen) and Raymond Mendes (Cathy); his stepdaughters, Tamara Romagnoli, Dana Butler (Bob) and Kendra Perry (Lance); his brother David Mendes (Mary Ann) of Hilmar; and his siblings-in-law, Alan "Bud" Serpa of Turlock and Delores Mendes of Hilmar.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Hilmar First Baptist Church (20038 2nd St, Hilmar, CA 95324). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
