He is survived by: his children, Ismael Jr. (Diane Gutierrez), Martha (Roman Miranda Jr.), Anabel (Gumersindo Zavala) and Patricia Rodriguez; his grandchildren, Megan, Will Smith, Daniel Gutierrez, Monique Ramirez, Leeann Gutierrez, Jared Rivera, Anissa, Caleb Ecksteen, Roman Daniel, Stephanie Miranda, Alisha Miranda, Andrew Zavala, Jessica Mendez, Crystal Zavala, Marissa Rodriguez and Analeah Rodriguez; his great grandchildren, Paisley, Brighton Smith, Kamila Cortez, Roman, Leonardo Miranda, Isabella Mendez and Trinidad Zavala; and his siblings, Natalia Palomares, Carolina Lopez, Juan Gutierrez, Antonio Gutierrez of Mission and Pedro Gutierrez of Houston, Texas..
