With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rutila V Lopez (Hollister, California), born in La Habra, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 27, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Celso Lopez; her daughter Dolores Lopez; and her granddaughters, Sabrina Sandoval, Christina Lopez, Joann Hernandez and Christina Pasillas.
She is survived by: her children, Elias (Angie Lopez), Robert (Norma Lopez), Jesse Lopez, Elizabeth Lopez (Mario Birruete), Mary Roman, Celso Lopez Jr., Vickie (Refugio Sandoval) and Connie (Javier Sandoval). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Black-Cooper-Sander Funeral Home & Crematory (363 7th St, Hollister, CA 95023). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunnyslope Christian Center (1520 Sunnyslope Rd, Hollister, CA 95023). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1100 Hillcrest Rd, Hollister, CA 95023).
