He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Lugo and Angela Lugo; and his siblings, Nubia King, Carmen Custer and Rogelio Lugo.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Lugo; his children, Robert Lugo (Amber), Camille Abeldt (Phil) and Beverly Medeiros (John); his grandchildren, Tiffany Galas (Jay), Jason Lugo, Natasha DeLeon, Johnny DeLeon (Rene), Amelia Stratton (Jason) and Erica VanderVeen (TJ); and his stepgrandchildren, Jenny Lay (John), Bryan Banuelos (Windy), Eric Banuelos, Jocelyn Splan (Blake), Hannah Castillon, Abby Castillon and Sophia Castillon. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Disabled American Veterans or the ASPCA.
