Gerald Edward Short Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on October 24, 2022, at the age of 97, Gerald Edward Short (Hughson, California), born in Fresno, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Reuben Short and Queena Short (Deeter); his wife Celia Pierini; and his children, Michael Short (Diana) of Sonoma, Michele Silva (John) of Modesto and Mark Short (Vicki) of Oakdale. He was also cherished by 6 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alexander Cohen Hospice House, to which the family is grateful for their kind and compassionate care.
