He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Dignum Schoorl and Catharina Schoorl of Holland; his children, Andy Schoorl (Cindy), Maria Gollnick (Glen), Annette Romani (Marcus), Frances Fogarty (Paul) and John Schoorl (Paula); his grandchildren, Joe (Lesley), Katie (Matt), Elizabeth, Marissa, Kara, Justin, Alicia, Anna, Julie, Peter, Brendan, Ella and Evan; and his great grandchild Ellie.

In lieu of flowers the family would like remembrances to be made to the Hank and Ada Schoorl Scholarship fund at Central Catholic High School, the Alexander Cohen Hospice House, the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
