He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolla Hancock and Ruth Hancock; his wife Deanna Hancock; his brother Phil Hancock; and his son-in-law Jaime Lomeli.

He is survived by: his brother Bob Hancock; his daughters, Marla Lomeli, Kim Presson (Tom) and Jeri McCarthy (Mike); his sister-in-law Linda Groves; his grandchildren, T. J. Presson (Megan), Bret Presson (Jessica), Justin Lomeli (Jenn), Andres Lomeli (Cierra) and Malynda Lomeli; and his great grandchildren, Tommy Presson, Clara Presson, Ava Presson, Emma Presson, Livie Presson, Amelia Lomeli and Maya Lomeli. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
