She was predeceased by: her husband Gale Norman Lofton; her son David Arthur Lofton; her parents, Arthur Nels Nelson and Leila Jean Nelson; and her brothers, Dwight Nelson and Alan Nelson.

She is survived by: her daughter Lori Lofton; her grandchildren, Aden Nelson, Blair Sheafer and Kaasha Patton; her great grandchild Aubree Kelley; and her siblings, Sonja Perino (Albie), James Nelson (Linda) and Janet Lewis (Mike).
