He was predeceased by: his parents, Phuman Singh and Jasoda Kaur; and his wife Resham K. Singh. He is survived by: his children, Sarjit Singh, Harjit Singh Malli, Farjit Singh Malli, Baljit Bains, Ranjit Sandhu and Gurpreet Malli; and his sister Gyan Kaur. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
