He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hardin and Mary Hardin; and his son Douglas Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Judy Hardin; his sons, Stephen Hardin Jr. and Christopher Hardin of Modesto; his siblings, Sharon of Toledo and Joseph (Marsha) of Mt. Kisco; his daughter Katrina of Pittsburgh; his grandson Zach of Pittsburgh; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene Aiello of Morada, Debbie Martinez of Plumas Lake and John Bunce (Mary) of Bettendorf. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
