The passing of Anne Rita Nelson of Huntington Beach, California leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kennedy and Julia Kennedy; her husband Vern James Nelson of Huntington Beach; and her son Michael Nelson. She is survived by: her sisters, Kathy Morrin and Judy Krackov; and her children, Vern Patrick Nelson, Sheila Dodd, Colleen Coffey, John Nelson, Christina Nelson Catalano, Daniel Nelson, Kiera Schlechner and Terence Nelson. She is also survived by grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage-Dilday Funeral Home (17911 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Cemetery (8301 Talbert Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92646).
