He is survived by: his spouse Jean Boyd; his children, Samantha Giles (Brent) of Westminster and Matthew Erstling (Lauren) of Seattle; his sisters, Judy Sherling (David) of Douglas and Deborah Erstling of Albany; and his brother-in-law Ron Taylor of Elora. He is also survived by four grandsons.
