We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025, Mildred Anderson of Huntington Beach, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Mildred farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Mildred is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ray S. Anderson; her parents, Charles Babb and Mary Babb; her sister Lorraine; her brother-in-law Karl Carll; and her daughter Jollene Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carol Purga (Tim) and Ruth Evans (Greg); and her sibling-in-law Myla Kneeland. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mundwiler Funeral Home (1003 E 4th Ave, Milbank, SD 57252).
