In the sacred silence of farewell, Jack is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Emma Thompson Spencer (Scarborough) and Wray Thompson; and his brothers, Wray and Norman. He is survived by: his wife Esther Thompson of Fort Wayne; his children, Keith (Amy), Cathy (Troy), Ron (Chasity) and Sharon; and his brother Dale. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the St. Matthew's Community Church (1460 E 500 N, Columbia City, IN 46725). The military honors will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Independence Cemetery (402 S Clay St, Independence, CA 93526).
