He was predeceased by: his son Richard Oliphant II. He is survived by: his wife Jan Oliphant; his children, Virginia Tinley, Deborah Dolan, Wes Oliphant and Mike Oliphant; his sisters, Valletta Suepple and Carol Olinger; and his brothers-in-law, Steve McWilliams and King McWilliams. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (47225 Washington St, La Quinta, CA 92253).
