He is survived by : his wife Ruby Fern Johnson of Ione, CA; his son Robert Johnson of Manteca, CA; his grandchildren, Jillian Feri, Kenneth Hillman, Shawna Smith, Joey Johnson, Jason Johnson and Sarah Johnson; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Addilyn, Benjamin, Cali, Colton, Joseph, Kaydence, Madelyn, Chase and Maverick; and his siblings, Mary Jane Bartko and Gerald Johnson.

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ione Memorial Hall (207 S Amador St, Ione, CA 95640).
