We announce the death of Albert F Tien in Irvine, California, who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his sister Mei-Chi Tien; and his son Henry Tien. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Tien; his daughter Christine Tien; and his grandson Alexander Boswell.
Although this work may be the most recognizable today, his contributions to ITT's high-reliability connector business were equally significant, supporting critical aerospace and industrial applications, including Boeing aircraft.
