He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Beatrix Quirin and Leo Ernest Quirin. He is survived by: his wife Jan Quirin; his sons, Andrew John Quirin and Matthew Christensen Quirin; his daughter-in-law Christina Quirin; his grandson Aden Arjun Quirin; and his sisters, Diane Strand (Wesley) and Mary Thonn (William).
