He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Christine Ransom (Matt) and Jason Benson; his grandson Luke Ransom; and his siblings, Don Benson, Dwight Benson (Jamie) and Marilyn Lounsbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
