He is survived by: his children, Alberto, Roberto, Abelardo, Daniel, Ernesto, Raul, Gerardo, Gregorio, Diana, Sandra Patricia, Adriana, Yolanda, Gloria, Laura, Brenda and Cristina; and his siblings, Rigoberto, Adrian, Ismael, Graciela, Ana and Carlota. He is also survived by forty one grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren.
