It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrel Hopper of Keyes, California, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Darrel departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Darrel. Though Darrel may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hopper and Mamie Gilstrap Hopper; and his siblings, Dewey Hopper, Pearl Martin, Faye Gilstrap and Betty Hopper.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Chatterton Hopper; his daughter Stephanie Bledsaw of Liberty; and his grandsons, Elijah Bledsaw and Joshua Bledsaw.
