“Gary was a friend at King City HS during our sophomore year. We hung around together during that time. Because I had large ears and his last name Stone, everyone called us Rocky and Bullwinkle, after the cartoon characters. Gary and I both loved baseball and played together on the JV team under coach Ed Quatre. Gary was a great ball player. Gary had a quiet manner and great sense of humor. I am saddened to hear of his passing. Mike Clay”
