He was predeceased by: his parents, William Plouffe and Cornelia Plouffe; and his brother Gordon Plouffe. He is survived by: his wife Alice Patricia Plouffe; his children, David Buchanan, Kathleen Buchanan and Linda Stuart; and his siblings, Barbara Landry, Brenda Mayo and Brian Plouffe. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.
