He is survived by: his wife Shirley Irene Klingman Mellien; his daughter Kathleen Michelle San Filippo (Derek); his son-in-law Steve Grand; and his stepchildren, John Mark Floyd (Lori), Marjorie Jean Burchett (Steve), Marie Jeanette Floyd (Anthony Creed), Deborah Lyn Velekei (Tom), Rebecca Ann Sundilson (Ethan) and David Robert Klingman (Hillary). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Richard's memory to the Cancer Research Institute or the Alzheimer's Association.
