She was predeceased by: her husband John Morihei Henmi; and her brothers, Nobutake, Teiji and Shohei Oba. She is survived by: her children, Mike Henmi (Robin) and Nancy Hara (Toshiki); her grandchildren, Kyle, Kayla Henmi, Bryce (Lesley Lei) and Kaitlin Hara; her siblings, Yasuyo Arai (Hisao), Katsuji Oba (Sachiko), Kiyomi Yoshikawa, Teruko Yoshida (Akira) and Michiyo Nomura; and her sister-in-law Toshie Yokota. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
