He is survived by: his spouse Nancy (McMullen); his sons, David Jr. and Peter (Laurie Benson); and his grandchildren, Katie Hunkel of Green Bay, Kelly Mroczenski (Justin) of Green Bay, Kevin Hunkel of Green Bay, Samuel Hunkel and Nina Hunkel.
