He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond D Lane and Eleanor Lane; his sister Kathy (Katy); and his wife Heather. He is survived by: his brother Jim Lane; his daughters, Rebecca, Sarah Lane and San Francisco; and his girlfriend Katherine Ryan (Benicia).

Raymond passed peacefully in his sleep on May 3, 2025, after an extended illness with Alzheimer's disease.
