With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl Lee Caldwell (Laguna Hills, California), who passed away on January 26, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Floyd Abbott and Dorothy Elizabeth Dicus Abbott. She is survived by: her brother Steven Ray Abbott; her children, Lara Christine Craig and Brian James Caldwell; and her husband James Floyd Caldwell. She is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like for you to consider donating to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America in the hopes that someday no one will have to suffer this terrible disease. No Events & Services No Charities & Donations.

“I’m so saddened to hear of Cheryl’s passing. We had so many fun times together during Ssi days. Going to the mountains together with Sue and Paul. Our fun times in Vegas when Sue and Paul got married. Cheryl, Sue, Elaine, Debbie and I all had silly nicknames. We called Cheryl: Cleo Lee I remember her having a collection Of apples in her kitchen. We enjoyed jewlery & crystal parties and Super Bowl Sundays. She loved her family so much. I’m blessed to have so many fond memories of Cheryl.”
