He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanor McDaniel; and his grandfather Marine. He is survived by: his father Steven McDaniel; his wife Candy Herweg; his daughters, Kelly Jacobson, Kerry Williams and Holly Norman; and his brother Bill McDaniel. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
In keeping with Dean's wishes, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to the military charity of your choice.
