He is survived by: his wife Miriam Lax; his daughters, Ruth McDonald (Don), Julie Scharlin, Shelly Kramer (Alan) and Lori Scharlin; his grandchildren, Jason (Sachi), Josh (Neftali), Jana (Jake), Megan (Israel), Brandin (Leticia), Sam, Jack and Clare (Ben); his great grandchildren, Rylee, Ellie, Logan, Gabriel and Paloma; his son Mark; his cousin Joe (Miriam); his nieces and nephews, Mitch, Barb, Ross, Maria, Wendy and Robert; Cindy, Michael, Sabrina, Peggy and Jerry.
