Margaret (Vander Hooft) Jongsma (Laguna Woods, California), who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 79, was married in Winnipeg Canada on July 7, 1961 to Cornelius Jongsma who proceeded her death in 1989 at a young age. Together they had four children, Daniel John (wife Terri), Mark Paul (wife Rhonda), Judith Anne and Barry Grant (wife Karen). She was a loving Sister being one of 10 children, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandma. Margaret lived with her family in Holland, Canada, California and Ohio. When Cor passed she moved back to California where she found Love with Willem Wouda they shared 27 happy years together, 20 in Laguna Woods. Willem has two children Vicky and Robert.
Margaret enjoyed the Children! She loved to visit with all of her Dutch friends, Going to Dana Point to meet friends for coffee, Traveling, and of course her knitting group.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 16th 2021 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Cross (24231 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, California 92637).

“We just enjoyed "little Margaret (as my father called her) " so much. She was always faithful in her attention to her beloved Cor's family. I appreciated that, I know my parents did, as well. My deepest condolences on the passing of your darling mother. She was a very fun aunt! I miss her.”
