He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Howell and Mary Nadvornick; and his brothers, William "Bill" Howell and Harold "Dwain" Howell. He is survived by: his wife Marcella "Marcy" Howell; his daughter Tiffany Howell-Garza; his grandchildren, Wyatt Garza and Shelby Garza; and his nephew Jeffery Howell.
