She was predeceased by: her parents, Amador Armenta Castro and Concepción Ripalda Felix. She is survived by: her children, Catherine, Michael, Mario and David; her husband Jerry; and her granddaughter Olivia. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In May 2020, she was hospitalized and was not allowed back to Sunrise due to the pandemic lockdown.
