She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Copeland and Bessie Copeland; her husband Bob Paxton; her siblings, Dempsey Copeland and Sybil Spradlin; her nephew Rodger Spradlin; her niece Janice Stuart; her in-laws, Ruby and Robert Bridges; and her siblings-in-law, Bonnie Bridges and Bill Spradlin.
She is survived by: her children, Brian (Lisa) and Laurie (Dave); her grandchildren, Kaitlin, Andrew (Stacy) and Allison (Russell); her great grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Atreyu, Theo, Lincoln and Brielle; her great great grandchildren, Olivia, Khalil and Zion; her siblings-in-law, Berneice Copeland and Bobby Bridges; her niece Gloria; her nephews, Craig, Mark and Phillip; and her friends, Fay White and Gayle Simpson.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park Northeast (3700 River Blvd, Bakersfield, CA 93305). A reception was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:00 PM.
