He was predeceased by : his sons, Paul and Terry. He is survived by : his wife Maria Gonzales; his sister Virginia; his children, Robert, Joseph, Luis and Valerie; and his stepdaughters, Martha, Anna, Judy and Adriana. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great great grandchild.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Halley Olsen Murphy Funerals & Cremations (44831 Cedar Ave, Lancaster, CA 93534). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church (15382 Myer Rd, Mojave, CA 93501). A burial will be held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 1:15 PM to 2:15 PM at the Bakersfield National Cemetery (30338 E Bear Mountain Blvd, Arvin, CA 93203).
