It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Mendes of Lemoore, California, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Leonard's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May Leonard's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Mendes and Mary Mendes; his brother Gene Mendes (Dorla Mendes); and his sons-in-law, Manual Rose Jr. and Tim Kerns.
He is survived by: his spouse Dorla Salmon Mendes; and his sons, David Mendes (Diana) and Mark Mendes of Lemoore.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Koinonia Church Hanford, Ca. in care of their Missions Program.
