He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa DeRuiter (Dirk), Lydia Sedano and Sonia De La Cruz; his godson Andrei Chavez; his siblings, Emily Martinez, Mary Castillo (John) and Victor De La Cruz (Bo); his grandchildren, Joshua DeRuiter (Kylie), Derrik DeRuiter (Severina), Kristion Casey (Kenneth), Misty DeRuiter (Charles), Mallory Breshears, Dylan DeRuiter (Sara), Andre Rodriguez, Ariel Rodriguez, Kasey Avila and Greg Meraz; and his great grandchildren, Matthew, Aalayah, Carlee, Jayce, Robbin, Leah, Kairi, Mikaylah, Jazlene, Llogan and Paislee.
