He was predeceased by: his wife Alice; his parents, Alfred Sr. Herrenschmidt and Mabel Herrenschmidt; his sister Grace Adamzyk; and his grandson Shane Herrenschmidt.
He is survived by: his sons, Skip, Marty, Mark (Elaine) and Doug (Ruth Ann). He is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and countless nephews and nieces.
