She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, David Karleskint and Elizabeth Leonard; her son-in-law Richard Leonard; her granddaughter Quincy Leonard; her brother Stephen Barrera of Idaho; her sister-in-law Elizabeth Karleskint of Lincoln; and her cousin Mike Barrera of Los Angeles.
Cheryl requested that in lieu of flowers that people make a charitable contribution to Friends of the Lincoln Library (FOLL) or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the Placer County Breast Cancer Foundation.
