She was predeceased by: her parents, Knud Meling and Grace Meling; her husband Gilbert Duyst of Hanford; her children, Kevin Duyst, Michael Duyst and Cynthia Duyst; and her siblings, Johnny Meling, Torres Meling, Melvin Meling, Ruth Meling Olson and Helen Meling Edwardson.
She is survived by: her children, Linda "Buffy" Lawrence (Phillip) and Rick Duyst (Megan); her daughter-in-law Martha Duyst; and her grandchildren, Garrett Duyst, Michael Duyst, Matthew Duyst, Amanda Willis, Justin Lawrence, Zachary Duyst, Cambria Duyst, Rodney Duyst and Danielle Duyst.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mt. Olive Lindsay Lutheran Church (1044 Parkside Ave, Lindsay, CA 93247). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lindsay-Strathmore Cemetery (639 S Foothill Ave, Lindsay, CA 93247).
