She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend Henry "H. Y." Johnson and Eliza "T. I." Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Robert Burn Spann; her children, Jason Robert Spann, Ethan Henry Spann, Alexis Elizabeth Ruth Spann and Adrienne Mentoria Catherine Davis; her grandchildren, Jason, Courtney, Alexa, Isaac, Imani, Chaunsey, Tate, Cameron, Zuri, Quawana, Jared and Nia; and her great grandchildren, Elijah, Brody, Asia, Izalea, Khori, Jayla, Paris, Jason III, Matthew and Samuel.
