He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Paez and Maria Paez; and his sisters, Juanita Alcantara and Mary Carrosco. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Terry" Paez; his children, Rene Paez Jr., Veronica Paez, Rickey Paez and Josie Arroyo; and his siblings, Hermalinda Solis, Irma Paez, Ruben and Robert. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
