He was predeceased by : his mother Sardar Javend Singh Samra; and his brothers, Sarwan Singh Samra and Sardar Pargan Singh Samra. He is survived by : his wife Jasbir Kaur Shergill of Livingston, CA; his daughters, Kulwant Kaur Grewal (Deepinder) of Fresno, CA and Kulwinder Singh Samra (Jasmine) of Livingston, CA.; and his grandchildren, Amardeep "Shaan" Grewal, Rose Samra, Karyn Samra, Alexdeep "Alex" Grewal and Ivan Samra. He is also survived by three grandsons, two granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews he loved.
