With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Osamu Nakashima (Livingston, California), born in Cressey, California, who passed away on May 19, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John Kohei and Ayako Nakashima; and his brother Tyler Nakashima. He is survived by : his wife Caroline Matsuyama; his children, Jill Nakashima (Dennis Shea), Stuart Nakashima (Ann), Dawn Nakashima (Jonathan Newman) and Beverly Nakashima; his sister Ida Nakashima Schneck of Denver; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary (Leah), Charlie, Andrew and Aya.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private burial was held at Winton Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in Tom's memory to Livingston United Methodist Church or the Livingston Lions Club.
