He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kooyman and Bertha Kooyman; his wife Darlyne Ekwortzell (Mary Ellen); and his siblings, John, Tom, Bill, Ronald Kooyman (Gongi), Mary Ekas, Cornelia Foster and Frances Massip.
He is survived by: his children, Clete Kooyman (Donna) of Carmel, CA, Dirk Kooyman (Bobbyn) of Lodi and Darcy Jack (Daren) of Eagle; his grandchildren, Trevor Jack, Kayleigh McGrath, Drew Kooyman, Tory Hernandez and Katie Kooyman; his great grandchildren, Alice and Jack McGrath; and his brother Al Kooyman. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
