It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Joyce Loftin of Lodi, California, who passed away on March 12, 2026, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Brenda departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Brenda may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Brenda leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbert Larson and Maecelle Larson; her husband Donald Loftin; and her brother Bob Larson. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Layton of Columbia, Kimberly Loftin of Lodi and Jennifer Loftin (Robert Gunn); and her sister Maureen Ratcliff of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.. She is also survived by four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites those who wish to honor Brenda's memory to plant a tree in Stanislaus National Forest or Tahoe Forest, reflecting her love of the mountains and forests she cherished.
