He was predeceased by: his parents, Russel Donald Meidinger (Mary Magdalena Plines) and Mary Plines-Meidinger; and his siblings, Dolores Wilkerson, Raymond Horst, Beverly Coussins and Marianne Horst.
He is survived by: his wife Vickie Lock; his daughters, Deanna Yates (Ronnie) and Aimee Smith (Mathew); his grandchildren, Ezra Smith and Juniper Smith; and his in-laws, Jeannie Jones and Dan Lock. He is also survived by numerous extended family members including cousins.
