He was predeceased by: his partner Jewell Dosier; his stepsons, Danny Burton Sr. (Kasandra) and David Burton Sr. (MaryAnn); his great great grandchild Marcello Reyes; his parents, Zennouske Matsuda and Kimiko Iwamara; and his siblings, Hazuye Nishimura, Toshiko Kiyoi, Akiko Nishida, Kiyoko Tanaka and Yoshito Matsuda.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Michelle Reyes (Paul) of Stockton, California, Amy Montenegro (Carlos) of Stockton, California, Anthony Moreno of Stockton, California, Danny Burton Jr. (Kristina) of Dover, Arkansas., Wesley Burton (Destiny) of Dover, Arkansas., Jewel-Lee Burton (Andrew) of Dover, Arkansas., Sheila Wilson (Eric) of Dover, Arkansas. and David Burton Jr. (Rachel) of Dover, Arkansas.; his siblings, Shigeko Kurosaki (Tad), Masako Matsuda of California and Seigo Matsuda of Virginia; and his caregiver Yolanda Basua. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous great -great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
